I leave in three days!!!! This week has been so busy and so much has happened !!
Monday we had normal classes and it was my companion and I's last day with one of our teachers so guess what.. we cried, haha. Then Tuesday it was the last day with our other teacher but we didn't cry that time, we had a day to prepare ourselves, plus the other teacher we were closer to. Then Tuesday evening we had devo where we sang "Joseph Smith's First Prayer" in the choir and it was sooo beautiful. And Elder Christofferson spoke so that was really awesome. We had 3 General Authorities from the Twelve Apostles speak to us while I was here. He talked to us about being fully converted and having the Law of God written on our hearts. The spirit was really strong and we needed to hear his message. Then that night after he spoke we had District meeting where we review the devotional, we always have really good discussions and we went around and shared with each other what is the one thing we'll take away from the MTC, and how grateful for the District we were. I said that the one thing I'll take away from the MTC the most is that the Savior loves us so deeply and divinely and He is in our lives so much more than we think. Then Wednesday my collega and I started our visitor center training. We learned how to do on-line teaching, which was really fun. We go on-line and call people in regards to their requests for a free Book of Mormon or Bible or any questions that they have. We have conversations and try to continue with them with on-line teaching. We also learned how to give tours in the visitor center. Thursday was some of the same things, we had gospel study reviews, on-line teaching with real actual people (which was so scary but so fun), and we gave two 20 minute tours to TRC people. On Saturday we get to go to Temple Square up in Salt Lake and do the real deal with the Sister Missionaries serving there. I'm pretty nervous but I'm super excited. Today we had our last gym time, it was super fun and our whole Zone played together! Afterwards we took pictures and I'm really going to miss these people. But I'm so excited to head to Rome!
Love you all so much!! Sorry if I don't get emails out as much but I'm sooo busy trying to pack and get everything done before I leave!!
Hope you all have a great week!! Next time we talk I'll be in Rome!!
Love,
