It is my third day at the MTC and I love it!! It's been super crazy busy and we've had a lot of repetition with rules and stuff but it's been great! I got super lucky, again, my district and the sorelle (sisters) in my district which are also my roommates are awesome and we have tons of fun!! I think my companion, Sorella Deschine, and I will do great together! I got here as an early check-in so the first night I got to go to devotional and even though I was super tired and REALLY hungry, it was awesome! A speaker form the Quorum of the Seventy spoke and unfortunately I can only remember his first name which was Carlos, haha. He shared his conversion story and taught the importance of missionary work and the chain effect it can have on someone's life. He told us don't get discouraged if we don't have tons of baptisms on our mission because just one person can turn into an eternal family, and if they become a missionary they will convert many as well and so on!
The food here is alright but it's definitely not Mom's food! And I need my snacks!!! So, I had to go buy some stuff from the MTC store! I have already been learning Italian and it is a little over whelming but it's going to be so cool!! I already memorized Moroni 10:5 in Italian!!(You can find the scripture in English right here) My teacher is awesome, he's so funny and he just got back from the Rome mission about six months ago! It is so fun to try and say little words here and there with the district! There were 30 new Italian going missionaries that came in on Wednesday and they said it's the biggest group they've got so far going to Italy! My companion here is also going to the Visitor's Center!
Today, I got to go to the temple and do an endowment session and it was a perfect start to the morning and it is so cool to have a bunch of missionaries all in there together! And I already have awesome blisters from walking around everywhere in new shoes, haha!
Hope everyone is doing great!
Love,
